The homes are clean, beds are made, bathroom and kitchen are equipped with towels and zou will find an initial supply of items that you would like to have immediately available. About the cleaning you do not have to worry. It's all included.
You will find your home on a prime location: Enjoy a great view of the Ruhr Valley. Walk to the medieval center of Monschau within ten minutes. Find nearby hiking routes through the Eiffel and the High Venn. Follow the new cycle route along the old Vennbahn from Aachen to Luxembourg, less then 100 m from the house. Visit interesting cities like Maastricht, Aachen, Cologne, Liège, Bonn, and Eupen with many events.
You will findtwo bedroomsin each apartment, each for two people. In the master bedroom the divan beds are made as a double bed and the other bedroom are made as two single beds. Are you with five people, then we add a cot or a folding bed. At 'Home with a View' you will find an extra nursery which zou can darken complete.
Are you looking for space for more than five people, then you can combine two or three houses to a group accommodation for up to 15 people. For small children we have high chairs available.
Do you want to cook yourself? That will work fine in the fully equipped kitchens. The kitchen at 'Maison Mont Joie' is the largest and the most suitable for cooking together.
For relaxation and conviviality you will find in the living room a cozy and modern decor with quality furnishings, beautiful views and modern media that you can expect nowadays. For those who love movies and series we have more than 200 DVDs available in each apartment. You can make free use of the internet via wifi.
For relaxing and sunbathing in the open air you will find a private terrace at each property. The terrace of 'Die Sonnenseite' will provide the most hours of sun. The terrace of 'Home with a View', is sunlit especially in the evening. All tenants can also use the garden to the south where we have built a large terrace with lounge sets and a barbecue. If you like to meet with other holiday guests, this is the place to be. Children can light a fire and roast marshmallows on the campfire further down the garden.
If you like walking or cycling, then you will find many routes into the beautiful surroundings, both with the mountainbike and with the touring bike. We have provided walking and cycling maps. For expensive bicycles to be parked, we have a bike shed available for up to four bikes. In Monschau you can also rent bikes with or without pedal assistance.
If you are limited in your mobility you may still manage well in Maison Montjoie . This apartment has no thresholds and no height differences. Only the terrace is 15 cm higher than the floor of the apartment. We have a walker available for indoor if necessary.
For (cheap) shopping you can find everything in Imgenbroich, just 3 km away from the property. There you will find several large supermarkets. You will find that most prices are lower than in England.
For trips with or without children, the area offers many possibilities. There are all kinds of cultural and natural events and attractions for young and old. There are boat trips on the Rursee. There is an abundance of restaurants in Monschau and the surrounding area. Shopping can be great in Aachen, Which is half an hour drive from Monschau. Aachen is indeed worth visiting for cultural and entertainment purposes. In addition: Maastricht, Cologne, Liège and Eupen are not far away.

f you enjoy being outside in the sun, you'll enjoy this appartment with its terrace facing south. Even in the less warm season this terrace is a nice place as soon as the sun breaks through. In the warm season this appartment is a pleasantly cool place to be.
